28.3.12

two days off school
with a flu that had to be entertained
so the thing to do, she thought,
was a pink castle for her friend's birthday.

she painted doors and towers and trees
and stuck beads on toothpicks
we folded a staircase
and made two princess puppets
amazing how an old box and some kitchen tubes
can give a child's imagination flight.

only now she wants one too .  .  .

This is stunning. Very pretty. Nefeli will be very jealous when I show her--and I recognize some of the (Hema) papergoods.

We miss you and we hope a.'s flu is over soon.

what a clever idea of using beads on toothpicks and very cute castle you made.
yesterday, i had my sick nephe w here and he did lots of drawing when he woke up from his nap.
i usually save lots of paper tubes and sticks for his craft. he said he is going to make big ship.
i like peeking though child eyes. they have fantastic imagination, don't they.
hope she feels better soon.

thank you all for your good words and wishes, we're still not out of the woods yet.
yes, dear coco, it's fascinating to watch, they can travel the world and back on a rag. when do we start needing so much more?
